Cement Clinker Processing Plant

Cement Clinker's Wet Process

In the wet process, each and every raw material is proportioned to meet a desired chemical composition and fed to a rotating ball mill with water. The raw supplies are ground to a size where the majority of the components are much less than 75 microns. Materials exiting the mill are referred to as "slurry" and have flowability qualities. This slurry is pumped to blending tanks and homogenized to insure the chemical composition of the slurry is right. Following the homogenization method, the slurry is stored in tanks till required.

Cement Clinker's Dry Process

Inside the dry method, each raw material is proportioned to meet a desired chemical composition and fed to either a rotating ball mill or vertical roller mill. The raw supplies are dried with waste procedure gases and ground to a size where the majority with the supplies are much less than 75 microns. The dry materials exiting either variety of mill are called "kiln feed". The kiln feed is pneumatically blended to insure the chemical composition of your kiln feed is effectively homogenized then stored in silos until essential.
